Last month we opened “Postcard Correspondence,” one of our most successful shows in some time, where artists made their own limited edition postcards that could either hang on the wall, or be mailed to a friend. A bunch of the images sold out, to be honest, a lot more than we expected. We are getting a few emails a day still, asking for some of this work - so we’ve done something about it.
To celebrate these pieces, we will be releasing VERY limited edition larger versions of some favorites for very affordable prices. There were always plans to make new editions of the art in a more traditional size, but now we’ve made it a full collection.
The first release in the “Postmordem-cards” collection is Steve Dressler’s “Lou Cafe,” inspired by Back To The Future. We’ll release these on FRIDAY on the newly designed gallery1988.com. These are 8x10 inches and signed and numbered by the artist. We only made 20 of these, and they’re only $30 each. You kinda can’t miss with this. And it’s just the first of a bunch, so stay tuned.
I’m pretty stoked to be kicking off this extension of the Postcard show. Thanks to everyone at the gallery.
Check out this great postcard from Steve Dressler, inspired by Back to the Future! This, and many other postcards, will be available starting Friday at G1988 (West) with our opening reception from 7-10 PM. Hang em or mail em.

An exercise in abstraction.

My buddy Chogrin puts together dope art shows. His latest foray is to commemorate the release of Ghostbusters on Blu-Ray by asking artists to reimagine the classic Ghostbusters logo. I was fortunate enough to be asked to participate. This is my take.
So happy to be participating in the Joss Whedon X Gallery 1988 show opening tonight. It’s always a great honor to be included in these show. If you’re in LA, definitely go check it out.
