it all started with this cute hello coco image i saw on my tumblr dashboard:
i immediately wanted to know who was the clever mind behind such cuteness. after a couple of clicks, i found myself fully immersed in the portfolio of steve dressler—illustrations of rainbow barack obamas, popular products with witty new brand names, awkward and uncomfy pop culture mashups, all topped off with a sharp vintage flair. needless to say, it caught my eye and i thought i’d share.
the website is incredibly well done, bathed in wit with smart animations. if you have a second today, i think you’ll be amused (which makes sense, just read that he’s also a (sometimes) comedy performer in nyc).
